Dear maria,     how are you& i'm so sorry i haven't written to you for a while, but i have been really busy. let me tell you my news. i started at the local 6th form college last september, and i am stydying for my a' levels at the moment. i am going to become a lawyer when i grow up, so i'll have to work hard and pass all my exams to get into a good university.   my other news is that i have a new pet dog. i have had him for two months now and he's really cute but sometimes a little naughty. for example, while i was walking him in the park yesterday, he ran off and it took me an hour and a half to find him again.   anyway, i must go as i have some homework to do, but i promise i will write again soon.     love, poppy
