my childhood memories

childhood is a wonderful time. almost every day we learn to do something new and make some discoveries. as we grow, we go through experiences that leave us with memories. i would like to tell about my first trip to the seaside.

i was four years old at that time and i remember how my dad came home from work and told me we were going to the seaside. i was so excited to learn the news! i helped mum and dad to pack our things and then we took a train. during the journey on the train i was looking out of the window. it was so interesting that i refused to have tea with my parents, but then i got hungry and after supper i fell asleep. when mummy woke me up, we had arrived at our destination. i remember little about how we got to our hotel room but i do remember how we came to the beach. it was a bit crowded and noisy there. some children were screaming with laughter as they were splashing in the sea, a few adults were playing volleyball shouting then daddy picked me up and put me on his shoulders and ran straight into the sea. at that moment i was the happiest child in the world!

i have been to the seaside a few more times but my best "seaside trip" memory is associated with the first trip.
