Statistics show that every second Russian spends summer holidays at home or stays at the dacha. Some people travel inside Russia on holidays. Others go to the country’s Black Sea resorts. The number of people travelling abroad is not very big, only about five per cent. Every fourth Russian likes backpacking and camping holidays. Russian schoolchildren have three months summer holidays.
