A lesson for Charlie
Charlie didn't really like his job, so he started
pretended to apply for new jobs. A few weeks
later, a company called him and needed foffered
to give him an interview. Charlie didn't want

was really hoping to get the job, so he was a

the interview, but when he saw that there was
a lot of traffic, he decided / hoped to get the
Underground. He was very late, and he forgot /
tried to turn his phone off. Unfortunately, it rang
while he was in the interview. The interview
didn't
go
well, and on the way home, his boss saw him.
It was a terrible day, and Charlie lº tried / learnt
not to lie to his boss again
and to
prepare well for job interviews.​
