But those ships hadn’t gotengines, they used the power of the wind. Now we can read a lot offrightening stories about pirates and monsters from that time.
Nowadays we continue using ships for the same purposes, but now they are safer and much more developed. Modern ships have engines and comfortable conditions. We use the old-fashioned ships as museums or sights.
Of course, we like our means of transportation as they are comfortable and save our time. But transport system in the past waseco-friendlier than in the present.
