Summative assessment for the 3rd term. Reading. Task1. Read out the breaking-news headings about disasters. Complete news with appropriate word.
Topical vocabulary: fantasy, jingling, rescue, dancing, hurricane, shocked, swallowed, massive, rumbling, collapsed, avalanche, wandering, relieved.( three words are odd)

Writing. Task2.
Write a story from your own life about a day when you experienced a natural disaster or any natural phenomena. Or imagine that you have experienced a disaster (watched a film). Follow the plan:
paragraph1: When and where the story happened (It was a bright, sunny day ….. years ago.) Who were there with you? ( My neighbour Alan and I …. . We were…..)
Paragraph2: Events in order they happened. ( Suddenly we heard/saw/felt… I tried to… I wasn’t hurt, but… . Then we/I…) about 7 sentences.
Paragraph3: What happened in the end- your feelings and emotions? (We had to …. . Then I heard …. I felt…)
