Americans eat a lot. They have three meals a day: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Most of Americans don't eat at home but prefer to go to restaurants. They can choose from many kinds of restaurants. There are a great number of ethnic restaurants in the United States. Italian, Chinese and Mexican food is very popular. An American institution is the fast food restaurant, which is very convenient but not very healthy.
However, there are some principles of American cuisine (if we may call it so). Americans drink a lot of juices and soda; eat a lot of meat, fruits and vegetables, not much bread. In the morning Americans have cereal or scrambled eggs, milk or orange juice.
Chicken or fish, fried potatoes, vegetable salads, and dessert: this is the most common menu for lunch. Dinner is probably the most important meal of the day, some people have family dinner, when all members of family have to be there.
For dinner Americans usually have meat, fried or baked potatoes with ketchup or sour cream, corn, peas, sometimes macaroni and cheese or spaghetti; ice-cream, fruit or cake may be for dessert.
Turkey, ham and apple pie are traditional for Christmas and Thanksgiving Day dinners.

Музыкальный концерт, который мне бы хотелось увидеть по тв. перевод заглавия:   musical concert which i would like to watch on the tv. the television offers to  us a lot of interesting programms: musical and politic and many  others, and  i'd like to watch some concert on my tv set. i love musical concerts, my loved musical band is a  secret garden. it's irish-norwegian neoclassial and celtic  musical  duet.  i expect that someday  on the tv will launch a concert recording of my loved  music band. their instruments  have a  such  magical fantasy sound,  although it turns out that these instruments are just a viola and piano. but their music performs so wonderful, their compositions are very harmonical and beautiful. that's why i want to watch secret garden's concert on tv. перевод моего рассказа: телевидение предлагает нам много интересных   программ: политических и музыкальных, и многих других, а я хотела бы посмотреть какой-нибудь  музыкальный  концерт на моем телевизоре. я люблю музыкальные концерты, моя любимая музыкальная группа -  это secret garden ("таинственный/секретный сад"). это ирландско-норвежский не-классический и кельтский  музыкальный  дуэт. я , что когда-нибудь по телевизору запустят запись концерта моей любимой музыкальной группы. их инструменты имеют такое  магическое фэнтезийное звучание, хотя оказывается, что их инструменты это просто скрипка и пианино. но их музыка исполняется так чудесно, их композиции гармоничны и красивы. вот почему я хочу посмотреть концерт secret garden по телевизору. надеюсь, что составленное мной, -  это то, что вам нужно.
