Read the sentences. Type in no more than two suitable words. In modern society, people have begun to forget that the planet Earth is our home. People sometimes do not notice that their actions are harmful to nature and cause many ecological problems.
The first problem is the pollution of the environment with industrial waste. There are many industrial companies all over the world. However, many of them do not have special cleaning devices. That can be the reason that harmful substances and waste get in the atmosphere and rivers. Therefore, plants, animals, birds, and fish die.
Secondly, nowadays, the need for wood has increased to produce paper, furniture and building materials. People don't think twice and cut down many trees. Moreover, vast areas occupied by forests have begun to disappear, and this is leading to climate change and the decrease of rivers’ level. Also, some animals have to leave their habitat. For example, more and more animals appear in the towns and villages.
To conclude, I can say that every person needs to do something to save the Earth. It is not so difficult: throw the rubbish in the waste bin or plant a tree next to the house. Each of us is responsible for a huge planet called Earth.
