Victoria Jenkins talks
about her dream job.
I recently took part in a
beauty contest in my town.
A few of my friends also
participated. We had a fun
time and didn't take it very
seriously. Of course, I was very
happy to win second place. It
made me think about possibly
becoming a professional model
in the future.
When I was about ten years
old, I used to dream about
having a glamorous job and
being famous. I used to look
through glossy magazines and
imagine myself as a top model.
But I was also quite a shy girl
and so I didn't think any more
about it.
Then at secondary school, I
joined the photography club
and enjoyed taking pictures of
people. I felt comfortable being
behind the camera and I was
pleased with the results. I put
together a good portfolio and I
have been offered a place at
Art School in October.
My aim is to start my studies

1. I am not very keen on watching TV because there are so many bad programmes.
