The legend of Kyz-Zhibek, a silk girl, (be) a gem of the Kazakh epic tradition.
Heroes of the tragedy “Kyz Zhibek” (be) known to every Kazakh, just as
Romeo and Juliet (be) known to the world. The plot (be) simple. A young batyr
(warrior) romantic and noble Tolegen from the clan of Zhagalbaily, despite the
will of his father, Zhibek from the neighboring tribe (be) the daughter of the
