)it is really a quiet place, it is often windy and there are many noisy birds outside. 2) the walls and windows are too thick to protect the building from storms. 3) mike says he isn't .afraid of storms, he knows that he is safe in the lighthouse which is one hundred years old. 4) mike is a writer and for him its an ideal home to work and live in because there are no people around. 5) all the rooms in the lighthouse are on top of each other. on the ground floor there is a kitchen which has a table and chairs for dining, above that there is a living-room. 6) above the living-room there is a bedroom and a small bathroom. 7) and right at the top is the room where mike does his writing. 8) all the rooms are round, of course! 9) mike doesn't have any problems with his unusual home, the nearest village isn't far away, it takes mike about half an hour to walk. 10) his home is a perfect place for living!
