Almaty Apple Festival. Almaty apple festival: September. Celebrating Almaty’s most famous produce in all manners on the Old Square.
This traditional event, loved by townspeople and Almaty visitors, is built around the symbol of Almaty - the apple. The festival with the extensive entertainment program, Almaty apples trade, competitions, master classes, sports trainings and many others.
Every guest can comfortably spend time and find something interesting at the festival. Traditionally, the festival area is divided into various thematic areas: art exhibitions, concerts, dance floors, entertainment and attractions for children, food courts, and a real apple market where you can buy any sort of sweet symbol of south the capital of Kazakhstan. Every year are sold about 100 tons of Almaty apples.
