Read the text and decide if the statements are True or False. Baurzhan Momyshuly is a legendary name. He was a hero of the Soviet Union, a famous writer, a famous soldier of the Great War, a true people's batyr.
Bauyrzhan Momyshuly was born on December 24, 1910 in a distant village of the Zhualinsky district of the Zhambyl region in the family of a cattle breeder. In 1929, he graduated from Aulie-Ata school - 9-year school. After school, he continued his studies in Turkestan. In 1932, he joined the army in Turkestan and became an officer.
In January 1941, he became an artillery commander and was sent to Almaty. Baurzhan Momyshuly was a battalion commander. Next was the front.
During the Second World War, he was the only Kazakh - a division commander. He went through the whole long war, first with the rank of senior lieutenant, and met the end of the war as a colonel. He commanded a battalion, regiment and division. After the Second World War, Bauyrzhan Momyshuly began writing fiction about the Second World War.
