Task 1. Writing. An article about a famous person
Kanysh Imantayuli Satbayev (April 11, 1899 – January 31, 1964) is one of the founders of Soviet metallogeny, principal advocate and the first president of Kazakhstan Academy of Sciences.
Achievements

Professor (1950)
Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR (1946)
Member of the USSR Academy of Sciences (1946)
The first president of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR
Kanysh Satbayev left after himself more than 640 scientific publications.
He created Institute of Geology which became the center of studies of Kazakhstan mineral resources.
The main discovery: Ulutau-Dzhezkazgan copper deposit that was on at the time the largest projected reserves.
An article about a famous person usually includes:
• an introduction which introduces the person
• a main body of two or three paragraphs (early life & latter life) with details and dates, achievements and death in chronological order
• a conclusion with final comments
