Read Jack's, Jill's and Helen's description of their houses and match the statements to the people. ) Jack
I live in Coober Pedy - a town in South Australia. It is very hot here and the temperature can reach 100 degrees
Fahrenheit. Also, there are often sandstorms. So, people choose to live underground. People say we are like cavemen.
But we are not because we have everything in our houses - water, furniture, even small windows and doors leading to
above the ground
Our family likes travelling. We do not stay in one place for more than two days. We are always on the move. It is
because we live in a campervan - our house on wheels. Yes, we do not have a constant address, but we visit several
places a month. We have everything we need starting from the oven to cook, and a shower. People say that it is
difficult to be always on the move, but I like it very much.
Helen
I live in a smart house in the center of the capital city. It is high-tech and has the latest technology. I control lighting,
temperature, gadgets and air conditioner from my mobile phone. It is very modern and comfortable. People say that
it is cool to live in such a house because you do not need to do a lot. But I believe that it makes me lazier.
Jack lives in
a house which is controlled remotely.
