When a businessmen set up a joint venture they want to increase their profit and to satisfy the needs of the customers. Setting up a joint venture must be beneficial to both sides. Foreign partners get the access to the Russian market, they gain the new market share. Russian partners can attract foreign capital, advanced technology and management expertise.
It is not easy to achieve these goals. It is necessary to study economics, politics, culture and science of the foreign country, or to study environment factors, to learn it there is any demand for your goods, to know how the price for your product compares with the competitors’ prices. You need highly qualified staff and a big budget.
A joint venture creation is not a simple thing. The joint venture creation has several stages. Businessmen must discuss the possibility of establishing a joint venture, sign a protocol of intentions, draft of a feasibility study, prepare the foundation documents
