IN THE WORLD

Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the Himalayas and the highest mountain in the world. It is 8,882 meters high. Many-1-men have tried to reach the-2- of Mount Everest. It is very-3-to reach the top of a-4-mountain. The men must take warm-5-with them because it is very -6- high up in the mountains. They-7- take with them food, tents and-8- other things. They went up five miles, but- 17-not get any higher. They tried-18-times. When they

started out the third time, it began to snow and-19-men died in the snow.

The men went back to England, but some -20- came back to Mount Everest in 1924.
