Paul was tired when he came out of the hotel and got into the car.

"No, this hotel hasn't got any rooms either. "

"Oh, " said Patricia, "this is the eighteenth, and it's already late.

Let's come into a cafe to have a cup of coffee. And then we can phone some other hotels from there. "

It was the ninth hotel when Paul suddenly heard: "Would you wait a moment please?" Then: "Good evening, You'd like to have a double room, wouldn't you?" "Yes. Is there any hope?" Well, it's difficult to say. We've got a room. The people who have reserved it haven't arrived yet. And it's half past twelve already. I think you may have the room. " "Oh, many thanks! I've telephoned so many hotels. Let's see! Yes, you are the Hotel Stefani, aren't you?" "That's right. The Hotel Steffni. " "Where is your hotel, please?" "In the centre of St. Moritz.
