i have conducted a study on one of the russian universities. it is called russian state social university (rssu). this university is situated in moscow.

i would like to start with the structure of the university. there are about fourteen faculties at the rssu. for instance, faculty of linguistics, faculty of humanities, faculty of information technology, faculty of communication management, faculty of medicine, etc.

it is worth mentioning that rssu has a huge library where students can find a lot of different books in the languages of different countries. also there is a computer centre in rssu. in this centre students can use computers during the break or just when they have some free time.

speaking about the history of the university, i have read that it was founded in 1991 with the mandate to continue the core of the research and teaching activities of the former higher school of the communist party. rssu was the first university in the russian federation to launch educational programs in the areas of social work, social youth work, social insurance and social gerontology.

there more than 40 branches of rssu in russia where study more than one hundred thousand students. and there are about 25 thousand students only in moscow. furthermore, there are one hundred thousand of highly qualified professors.

rssu is the university where you can find students all over the world. the university is involved in the organization of international projects.

moreover, rssu ranks 85th in the ranking of russian universities and entered the "ranking of the best universities in the world: brics" 2017 according to the british company qs.

it is important to mention the most notable alumni of the university. for example, galushka alexander – minister for the development of the russian far east,

gamova ekaterina – volleyball player of the national team, world champion, master of sports of the russian federation, kapranova, olga – athlete, the world and european champion, master of sports of the russian federation.
