Слова маркеры? не знаю, что это, но думаю это :
1.yesterday - вчера
2.ago - назад ( например: три недели назад(three weeks ago)
3. in - в (например: в 1099 году)
4. the day after tomorrow - послезавтра
5.last - прошлый ( на прошлой неделе)

пример предложений в past simple :
1.i went to school yesterday - я ходил в школе вчера
2.we didn’t write this test - мы не писали этот тест

past continuous:

masha loves her birthday. it is in june, and she always invites her friends to come to her house. there is a small forest near the house, and this year masha’s parents have a very interesting idea for masha’s party. “we can have a picnic in the forest,” says her mother, “and you and your friends can sleep in a tent.”

so masha and her friends go to the forest and have a great dinner. masha and her friends are good eaters and masha has lots of different foods. she has 25 sandwiches, 4 fried chickens, 6 bowls of salad, 5 meters of sausages and a big birthday cake with 14 candles. the girls have a lot of fun. “it’s a pity that vlad isn’t here,” says masha to her friends.

it is dark when the girls finish their food and go into the tent. the girls don’t sleep and start to tell stories about monsters and ghosts. they are not afraid and laugh at the stories. but then ksiusha shouts, “something touches me! ”

nobody wants to laugh anymore. the girls hear some strange noise in the forest. and then dasha says, “i can hear it. it’s near our tent! ”

“monster! it’s a monster! ” - shout the girls and jump out of the tent.

the girls see something big near the tent. that something says: “hello! which monster? i am not a monster. i am vlad. i am a little bit late. sorry. it is very difficult to find you in the forest.”

“oh, vlad! – says masha – you are always in time! ”
