Dear peter, thanks for your letter. it was nice of you to drop me a line. these summer days were the best days of my life! my family and me were travelling the whole summer! we spent a lot if time in the forests of russia. can you imagine, we saw a bear! it was so big, but didn't even notice us, hunting the salmon. everyone knows how much i love animals, and this was really incredible! we lived in a tent mostly, so close to it was really hard to get used to the civilisation again, but we had a good time. here are the photos, i guess you will like them. by the way, here's also the photo of the part of your birthday present! nothing special, just to tease you! ; p are you going to have a birthday party with your classmates? and what are your parents planning? i guess you'll finally go to moscow! : ) i'm sorry, i have to leave now and do my homework. i'm looking forward to hearing from you. best wishes,
