Нужно найти грамматические ошибки. 13. great britain great britain is a unique country with the rich culture and many interesting traditions. nowadays, the country is famous for its special political system, for its symbols and features. that is actually an island, which includes scotland, wales and england. the capital city of the country is london. it is also a legendary city and many people want to live there because of its special charm, beautiful architecture and unique citizens. the flag of great britain is not so simple. it has a very important meaning, because it symbolizes the union of the countries. all of them together create the united kingdom. it has many names, but the most common one is the union jack. nowadays, the flag is very popular all over the world. you can find its print on the very different things, for example on the souvenirs, cups, bags, clothes, shoes, whatever! another thing, which attracts a big number of tourists is the special political system, which exists in this country, as you know, in great britain there is a queen – elizabeth ii. the political system is called the constitutional monarchy. in addition, there is another special feature of this state – it does not have such a document as the constitution, instead of it exists a very special set of rules, which every citizen of great britain should follow. the parliament in the country consists of three parts. it is the monarch, the house of lords and the house of commons. great britain has many places of interest, that is why the country attracts a big number of tourists. big ben, westminster abbey are among the most famous attractions situated in the london city, where you can also find many interesting places. in my opinion, every person who is travelling to great britain should visit the london city. there are some interesting facts about london. london is built on the river thames. there are 15 bridges in the city, that span the river. the first bridge was wooden and the romans built it. london is divided into separate local units of the government. among the special things, concerning great britain, it is necessary to mention the famous red double decker buses and the unique red british telephone boxes. every person who takes big interest in britishness will also mention the two famous characters – sherlock holmes and doctor watson. there is also the museum of sherlock holmes in the famous baker street, where you will get a chance to feel the special atmosphere of the detective stories. another special feature of great britain is its climate. as you know, very often the country is called – foggy albion. there is a real reason for it. usually, there are a lot of rains there. the weather is mostly wet and cold. during the whole day, there is a fog in the streets and on the roads. however, in my opinion, it can only add a special charm to the country and make it more memorable for those, who decided to visit it. great britain is a very interesting and unique place to visit. many people have a dream to get a chance to visit it someday. so, if you were lucky enough and got the opportunity to travel to this country, do not even hesitate! take your luggage, buy a ticket and enjoy a trip, which you will not forget during all your life. 14. environmental protection we live in a world full of different types of pollution. wanting to make their lives easier people have invented so many new devices and factories, that nature is in danger. unfortunately, environment is not the unlimited source of resources. at the moment, our planet suffers from numerous problems and damages. for example, acid rain, which is the result of waste gases from power stations. such rains cause forest damages. other big problems are water shortage and the destroying ozone layer. it is all the result of pollution that comes from factories and plants. wildlife suffers as well. many species of animals and plants start to disappear. another big issue is global warming and greenhouse effect. as you can see, there is a long list of environmental problems, which need to be solved. otherwise, our planet earth may get fully destroyed. people should start dealing with these problems immediately. the most important thing they can do is to change their attitude towards the environment. first of all, people should switch to alternative forms of power, such as wind power or solar energy. secondly, the use of nuclear power should be banned. thirdly, we should start to recycle. it’s the art of turning waste into new products. other than that, the number of harmful plants should be reduced because they pollute the air and water greatly. it would be a good idea if people started using bicycles instead of cars. we are obliged to protect nature. if everybody cares, it would make difference.
