There are many holidays, but my favourite is new year's day. the new year is celebrated on the night of 31 to 1 this is the middle of winter. in general, i like winter because the whole earth is covered with a layer of snow that looks like a white blanket. on this holiday, the beauty of snow is complemented by new year's lights shining christmas toys and tinsel. i love not only the holiday itself but its expectation. all these purchases, cleaning, shops with people looking for gifts and the rest. all this immerses in the atmosphere of the holiday. and of course the letter to ded moroz, i still want to believe in this fairytale.  in schools before the new year, usually arrange a disco, which i love to attend. my family has its own traditions for this holiday. a week before the holiday, i'm going with dad to buy a new year tree and then i decorate him with my mother and my father helps to hang a big and beautiful star on top. on the eve of this wonderful holiday, i choose the gifts that we exchange at the midnight. grandmother, as always, bakes the most delicious cookies in the world. every year we try to get together with the whole family. nobody sleeps on this magical night. we all have fun playing games and eating different goodies. also, we usually like to go to the main christmas tree. there i meet my friends and acquaintances and we walk together. and after the holiday, i usually go to the theater for a "christmas story". the new year's day is always connected with our hopes and dreams. i love this holiday and i hope you will too. happy new year and merry christmas to you.

There are a large number of professions. the cook, a chauffeur, a cosmonaut, teacher, manager and many others. each profession has been good. each has its pluses and minuses. i still don't know what i'll do, when grow up. maybe i'll sail the ship oceans or fly to other planets. or on the native land will grow a bumper wheat crops will be planted with flowering gardens. and maybe i'll find a way to tame the lightning, will make it serve the people. or will invent a cure for most terrible diseases. or become an engineer and will make a machine that will replace the moms in the kitchen. who i want to be, don't know yet, as i study only in the ninth grade. but i do know that when i grow up, i will work to benefit people. and it is necessary to study well in school, to get knowledge in different subjects, which will surely help me in adult life.
