Think of the word which best fits each gap. use only one word in each gap. most people think of work as a boring routine where you do the same thing day after day. this is i feel so fortunate that i'm a holiday representative. a holiday rep's job is basically to sure holidaymakers have a great time. you give them information on the local area, organise excursions for them, help solve problems they might have, or direct them to the besr tourist attractions. you don't really need any formal qualifications, although knowledge the local language helps; just be good with people and have of enthusiasm. i work as a rep the greek island of santorini and my typical week begins with meeting new arrivals at the airoprt. i wear the company uniform, people can recognise me, and then guide them to the coach will take them to their hotel. i really enjoy part of my job, because most of the people are very happy to be on holiday and this makes me feel relaxed. after each arrival, i hold a "welcome meeting" for the guests, where i give them information on the area and they can do during the day and the evening. this is a good chance to get to know each guest and i particularly like fact that everyone has different things they want to see and do. although i am always on-call, my job is more a holiday than a job and one i don't intend giving up in a hurry.
