Ilive in a large private house in a quiet street. in my house there are two floors, a basement and an attic. we also have a garage and a workshop. on the ground floor there is a kitchen, a hall and a room for parents. my room is on the second floor. our house is very beautiful. my father built it himself. when guests come to us, my mother sets the table in the hall. this is the largest and brightest room in our house. the living room is very cozy, because there is a fireplace in it. we like to gather before him in the evenings, drink tea and look at the fire. before the fireplace lies a white fluffy carpet. i often lie on it and read a book. in my house there is a beautiful kitchen. on her mother prepares me and my father for breakfast, lunch and dinner. on weekends, my mother bakes pies or cookies. when i come from the street or from school, something delicious awaits me. mom cooks very delicious. i spend most of my time in my room. it has a bed, a computer desk and a bookcase. on the wall hangs a map of the world. i like to study the map, the countries and the oceans. on the shelves are models of ships, which we did together with my father. i also really like our loft. from his window you can see the whole street and the river. looking at her, i imagine myself a sailor. when i finish school, i will go on a voyage as captain of a beautiful white ship. favorite garden behind the house we have a beautiful garden. it grows old apple, cherry and pear. in spring the trees bloom very beautifully, it seems that they are covered with snow. last year, the pope planted another apple tree. i will also plant my own tree. in addition to trees, there is a gazebo and a swimming pool in the garden. in the summer we fry shish kebabs with parents. and when my classmates or friends come to me from the street, we bathe in the pool. it is very funny. my mother loves flowers very much. in this way, she broke the large flower-beds before entering the house. we have roses, petunias, cornflowers and big chamomiles. and in the autumn chrysanthemums bloom. they can stand until the winter. mother's beds are a real decoration of our yard. i really love our house. it is warm and cozy. we always welcome guests, so in this house laughter and fun always sound.

first of all i must say that i  am most concerned about  the place where i live.  it doesn’t matter  wheather my house is small or large, modern or old. the atmosphere is more important. it should be a place you want to stay and want to return to. i agree with the proverb: «east or west home is best». your house must be a place where you can relax, come back with pleasure.

now i’d like to say a few words about my house.  so,  i live on  the outskirts of the town.    it is rather  far from  the centre of the city and what is more important it is far from  traffic. i have a  detached  house. i like fresh air. my house  is surrounded by  trees, bushes and there are many flowers and a pond in the garden.  it is  one-storeyed building. the house has the back entrance. it is a terrace. there are 4 rooms on the ground floor. it is a living room, two bedrooms and a  study-room.  also there is a large kitchen, a bathroom and a small enterance hall. we have all  modern conveniences,  such as  heating, electricity, gas,  hot and cold running water  and a telephone. of course we don’t have a  chute.

our living room is the largest one. there is a large window, a window-door, a tv set, a sofa, two armchairs   and a  fireplace. we like to  gather together  in winter here watching the fire and talking about everything. the kitchen is rather small. but there is everything what is necessary: a round table, a cupboard, a fridge, a cooker. also there is a big  aquarium.  i like to spend time in my bedroom. it is a big room where you can find a large bed, a  wardrobe,  a mirror and an armchair. other bedroom is smaller. there is a bed, a wardrobe, a table and a chair. the computer and bookshelves are in the study. my bathroom  provides me with convenience.  there is a nice mirror, a  rack for towels,  a  bath-tab  and a  basin. the entrance hall is small. there is a hall-stand and a mirror. the telephone is on a special table under the mirror. i try to keep my flat clean.

of course, i  am looking forward to  improving my household conditions. i hope it is  not in a distant future. i like my house. it is comfortable and cosy. everything here is dear andprecious  to me. many pleasant and happy moments of my life are connected with my home. i believe that the house starts to be the home when  it is warmed by the people who live in it, isn’t it?
