Well, what about sport? you look quite   - i used to be an obsessive tennis player, but i gave it up when i broke my ankle last year. - oh, i really love tom says i'm a natural. shall we have a game sometimes? - well, i'm really rusty. i'll have to get a bit of practice first.  - don't be silly. i'm only a novice. we'll just have a friendly game.- o.k. see you on monday.  - o.k. don't forget to bring your racket. we'll have a game after work. - what's golf? i've heard much of the game but i don't know how it's played. is it anything like tennis?   - oh, no, it isn't. in general the game consists of hitting a hard little ball with a stick and then walking after it.   - well, it's not very interesting, i think. do you play golf? - yes, very often. it's a very interesting and exciting game and it requires great skill. i thought cricket was the national game in england.   - you are quite right. but cricket is played during summer. it's considered to be the fairest game in the world.  - it sounds very interesting.   - is football popular in the usa?   -yes, very much, especially in autumn. it's played by almost every college and university in the country. besides there are professional football teams in all the major cities in the usa. there are always a lot of people at football matches which are accompanied by uniformed bands and pretty girls who cheer the football fans.- what other games are also popular in the usa?   - well, basketball. it's more popular here than in other countries. basketball is played at schools, colleges and clubs. many americans prefer it to football because it's faster than football. - i hear baseball is popular in the usa, isn't it?   - of course, it is. baseball is played in spring and in summer. it's even called the "national pastime ".   - i'd like to see a game of baseball.- good idea.   - is it possible to get tickets for tonight? - you can sit wherever you like in the first row.

Our house is very large and comfortable. There is a large entrance hall. There is a living room in our house. We watch TV in this room. There is a dining room where there is a large table and six chairs. Here we have lunch, breakfast and dinner.

There is a kitchen near the dining room. It is very modern. We have a lot of household appliances: a fridge,a stove, a dishwasher, a mixer, a blender, a bread maker and a microwave in it.

We have a bathroom and a toilet. I have got my own room and there is my parents' bedroom next to my room. My room is wonderful, it is large and bright. I have everything I need: a computer desk, a sofa, two armchairs, a wardrobe, a large mirror and a lot of posters on the walls.

We have a wonderful house!

Наш дом очень большой и удобный. В нем есть большая прихожая. В нашем доме есть гостиная. Мы смотрим телевизор в этой комнате. У нас есть столовая, где стоит большой стол и шесть стульев. Здесь мы обедаем, завтракаем и ужинаем.

Рядом со столовой наша кухня. Она очень современная. У нас много бытовой техники: холодильник, плита , посудомоечная машина, миксер, блендер, хлебопечка и микроволновая печь.

У нас есть ванная комната и туалет. У меня есть своя комната, а спальня родителей рядом с моей комнатой. Моя комната замечательная, большая и светлая. У меня есть все необходимое: компьютерный стол, диван, два кресла, шкаф, большое зеркало и много плакатов на стенах.

У нас замечательный дом!
