my favourite film
my favourite film is "divergent", which is the first part of the trilogy. it is a science fiction action film that was released in 2014.
the film is about some distant future where the society is divided into five groups. the story is told from the main character's point of view and this main character is a sixteen-year-old girl, beatrice prior ("tris"). her part is played by shailene woodley and she does it brilliantly. we see how tris makes important decisions, like choosing to join the dauntless, and learns the rules and makes friends. i also like the character called four. i think theo james played this part very well. i was surprised to see kate winslet play the negative character in the film.
i like the film because when i watched it i had an impression of being there, together with tris. in my opinion this effect explains the popularity of "divergent" among young people.
