With the advent of automobiles, there arose the question of how to protect traffic and pedestrian safety. this has established the traffic rules, which are mandatory for all road users. they place a single order of movement throughout the territory of ukraine. the implementation of these rules – the key to the preservation of his life on the road. who participates in road traffic? the participant of traffic – the person taking direct part in process of traffic on the road as a pedestrian, driver, passenger, driver animals. pedestrian – a person involved in a road traffic outside the vehicle and not performing the way any work. pedestrians are equated persons, moving in a wheelchair without an engine, are bicycle, moped, motorcycle, carrying sledge, the cart, child, or a wheelchair. every street consists of the roadway, curb and sidewalk. the roadway is an element of road intended for vehicle traffic. the edge of the roadway, the conditional, or indicated by a road marking line on the carriageway in place of its fit to the roadside, sidewalk, lawn, dividing line, lanes for trams and the like. pavement – the element of road intended for pedestrians adjacent to the carriageway or separated from it by a lawn. the sidewalk always lay slightly higher than the roadway. why? to in the rain with them faster dripping water to wells sanitation. but still to no car accidentally drove the right wheels onto the sidewalk and knocked down a passerby. walking path – a path with a coating, which is designed for pedestrians. pedestrians should walk on sidewalks and pedestrian paths, keeping to the right. if there are no sidewalks, walkways or move on them it is impossible, pedestrians can move along the bike path, keeping to the right and not impeding traffic on bicycles and mopeds, or in a row on the road, and in case of his absence – on the edge of the roadway, facing traffic vehicles, it is good to see the car approaching. thus it is necessary to be careful not to disturb other road users. driver – a person who participates in road traffic when driving a motor vehicle. to ensure the driver has: - before leaving to check and ensure the good technical condition and complexity of the vehicle, the proper placement and fastening of cargo; - monitor the technical condition of a vehicle in transit; - vehicles devices by means of passive safety (restraints, safety belts, etc.) to use them and not to transport passengers, not wearing seat belts.)
