1. this borough was founded in 1901. 2. these radio programmes are always listenedwith great interest by everybody. 3. the lecture on civil codes is heard by all students with great interest now. 4. when i returned to the city the new school was still being built. 5. the capital of great britain is situated to situated on the river thames. 6. the houses of parliament were to built in the 19th century. 7. the ancient houses of parliament were destroyed by the fire.

1) hi, schmits family! - неверное . во-первых, можно написать the schmits и будет понятно, что вы обратились ко всем членам семьи. во-вторых, судя по всему это ваше первое письмо, значит, нельзя сказать "! ", скажите по-другому: hello! good day и т.д. 2) the street is now sunny and warm, despite the fact that it was autumn. - хорошее предложение, но "улицы не могут быть солнечными и теплыми". очевидно, вы хотели сказать на it is warm and sunny in the street now, despite the fact that it was autumn. или скажите, что the weather is warm and sunny in the street now, despite the fact that it was autumn.
