The Hindu god Krishna is said to have saved sixteen thousand women from slavery in a classic narrative from southern India. Narakasura is a tyrant king. Both stories end with good triumphing over evil. Diwali is also a festival dedicated to the goddess Lakshmi.On Diwali day, I like to go to the temple and pray to Mother Lakshmi. For peace, prosperity, and money, we pray to Goddess Lakshmi. I also dress in new Indian outfits, such as men's kurtas and women's saris.
