2. прочтите текст и определите, верны (t) или нет (f) утверждения, помещенные под текстом. read the text and decide whether the statements below are true (t) or false (f). a new face of the moon warming my sleeping bag, the sun shone through the window. i lay on the top bunk while hildur, my friend, slept on the bottom. i was visiting her and her family on their farm in iceland, the land of the moon. years ago volcanoes erupted, covering the land with black rocks so that now it looks like the moon. hildur and i crawled out of bed early that cold summer morning. that day she, her sister kristin, their parents, and i hiked to the lake at the top of the mountain to go fishing. we put bananas and chocolate cookies into our pockets, and we were carrying drinking water and fishing rods with us. hildur and her dad went along the shoreline until they reached a flock of birds; it was a sign that there was food in the water, maybe even fish. they threw their lines toward the centre, hoping the birds had not eaten all the fish. it was late afternoon, and i had not eaten anything yet. i dove into our snacks, and even though the banana felt like mashed potatoes, it was the best lunch i had ever eaten. later, i tried to fish. hildur showed me how to throw out the fishing line, but after many tries, i was disappointed that i still had had no success. back at the farm, we had dinner, and after that hildur and i walked to our favourite spot on the farm, the roof of the shed. we sat until past midnight, sharing stories while staring toward the end of the valley at the far away mountains. as we tiptoed back, i noticed that it was just past midnight. even at that hour, the sky was lit by a beautiful sunset and a pastel rainbow. 1. the landscape around the farm in iceland resembled the moon. 2. they carried their food and water in backpacks. 3. the flock of birds was a sign that there was fish in the lake. 4. the girl caught a lot of fish. 5. they stayed up late that evening.
