Cooking is my favourite hobby

  i want to tell you about one of my favourite hobbies, which is cooking.    i love to cook homemade meals, because they are healthy, less fattening and nutritious to eat.

my favourite things that i like to cook are; chicken stiry fry with rice noodles and vegetables, pasta with tomato sauce or tuna casserole, stuffed peppers with beef or chicken inside them, and fish.

cooking to me is also an enjoyable thing to do as well as it being a special hobby.

i encourage people to take this opportunity to make healthy cooking a part of their everyday lifestyle.

 

from what i know, a lot of people eat the wrong foods at the wrong time; so they will make up excuses for not eating healthy.  it's no wonder people are extremely obese and they should take proper care of themselves.  those kinds of  people just don't want to listen to their physicians.  that's why people have health problems such as heart attacks, which could lead to possible death.

 

please think of healthy cooking as a hobby and a healthy lifestyle to you and your family.

1. at the border station passangers (filled) in the forms and (went) through the customs. 2. when he (was looking) for his passport, he (found) these old photographs. 3. she (was walking) along the street when someone (opened) the window and (threw) out a bouquet of roses. 4. our neighbour (found) this ring when he (was digging) in the garden. he wonders who it (belonged) to? 5.-  we (flew) over loch ness some days ago. - did you (see) the loch ness monster? 6. when she (left) school she (cut) her hair and wears it short. 7. mr. bush (worked) as a cashier for twenty-seven years. then he (retired) and (went) to live in the country. 8. why didn't you (lend) him that book yesterday? – i (was reading) it myself at that time. 9. i know you (were) very busy last week, so i (did not disturb) you. 10. my mother was very pleased to see her classmates again. she (had not seen) them for twenty years. 11. last year the browns (went) to france. it (was) their first time there. they had never (been) there before. 12. was helen at the party when you (arrived)? no, she (had gone) home. 13. the house (was) very quiet when we (got) home. everybody (had gone) to bed already. 14. where did your grandmother (work) before she retired? – she (worked) at the post-office all her life. 15. the children (had been lying) in the sun for half an hour when it started to rain. 16. we were good friends. we (had known) each other for a long time. 17. when i came my boss (was waiting) for me. he (had been waiting) for 20 minutes already and (was) annoyed be­cause i (was) late. 18. when i (woke) up at 9 yesterday morning my brother (was sitting) in front of tv. he had just (turned) it off. he (had been watching) tv programmes since seven o'clock. 19. he (had been waiting) for the train for 10 minutes when suddenly he (realized) that he (had arrived) at the wrong station. a minute later he (was hurrying) to a taxi stop.
