i am sure that reading really plays a very important role in our life. as for me i try to read books every day. i don`t exactly remember when i began to read. perhaps i was three or four years old. i know that my first book was a volume of fairy - tells. now i read a lot of books, dictionaries, encyclopedias, so i can say that reading is a very significant part of my life, because it gives me much knowledge and sometimes a piece of advice. in my opinion reading helps us in every sphere of life.

my favorite book is « the adventures of sherlock holmes» by a well-known great writer sir arthur conan doyle. these detective stories were written in 1891 and were firstly published in 1892. they tell us about adventures of a very clever, brave and inimitable detective sherlock holmes and his best and true friend doctor john watson. once conan doyle wanted to kill his character, but his fans didn`t like this idea at all, so he wrote more stories about sherlock holmes. in my opinion public loves these detective stories because holmes differs from other detectives, combination of absolutely different qualities makes him very timely nowadays. i suppose that everyone should read this book, because it is very original, interesting, amusing and exciting. it is very easy to read this wonderful book too.                 

finally i`d like to say that i can`t imagine my life without reading.   

hobby is a favorite occupation of a person in his or her free time. people are different so they have hobbies of various kinds. somebody likes to knit or sew things, other likes to make everything with his own hands or to draw, to take pictures. many children and grow-ups are fond of collecting. they collect old coins, postcards, toys, stamps.

hobby helps people to relax, to forget about their troubles and to have a good time.my hobby is learning english. nowadays it’s especially important to know foreign languages because we need it for our work, for travelling abroad. everyone who knows foreign languages can speak to people from other countries, read foreign authors in original that makes our outlook wider.

i think my hobby is very interesting and useful.

хобби – это любимое занятие человека в свободное время. люди разные и у них различные увлечения. кто-то любит вязать или шить, кому-то нравится мастерить все своими руками или рисовать, фотографировать. многие дети и взрослые увлекаются коллекционированием. они собирают старые монеты, открытки, марки.

хобби людям расслабиться, забыть про проблемы и хорошо провести время.

мое хобби – изучение . сегодня особенно важно знать иностранные языки, они нужны нам для работы и для путешествий. каждый, кто знает иностранные языки, может говорить с иностранцами, читать зарубежных авторов в оригинале, что расширяет кругозор.

я думаю, мое хобби интересное и полезное.
