ecology is a science, looking to the future. and it is based on the principle that the value of the future is not as important as the values of the present.the term "ecology" has arisen within biology. its author was professoruniversity of jena ernst haeckel (1866). ecology was originally seen as part of biology that studies the interaction of living organisms, depending on the state of the environment. later, in the west the concept of "ecosystem", and in the ussr, "biocenosis" and "biogeocoenosis' (introduced academician vn sukachev). it is almost identical.in all cultures and all nations has always been there is a perception of the need to care for the environment. some have more, others - less. but the fact that the land, rivers, forest and wild beasts is the intrinsic value, perhaps, the main value of which hasnature, man, i realized a long time. for a long time, the main practical problems of ecology boils down to protecting the environment. but in the 20th century, this traditional thrift, which began to fade under pressure is a developing industry, has proved inadequate. degradationnature has become a threat to the life of society. this led to a special environmental laws. to humanity in all growth raises the problem of the survival of the world. questionable future of our species. humanity could face the fate of the dinosaurs. the only difference is that the disappearance of the former rulers of the earth was caused by external factors, and we can die from the inability to use their power wisely. this problem is the central problem of modern science (though it may be, this is not all yet realized).solving problems of this magnitude is only available to humanity. this will require changes in the organization of the planetary community, in other words, a new civilization, the most important adjustment - those value systems that are approved for centuries.
