Мне ответить на вопросы к тексту answer the questions: 1. why is a child’s birthday a very special day? 2. what do the children do at a party? 3. what tasty things are they treated to? 4. why don’t the children open the presents at the beginning of the party? 5. do you think it is a good idea to give gifts to the guests? 6. compare a birthday party in your country and in england. 7. what are the most popular games played at birthday parties? when your birthday comes round it is a very special day. some english children have a party at home on this day. they invite their friends and family to the party. many presents are given to the birthday boy or girl. usually the guests arrive and play some games or watch videos.after some time the lights are turned off and one of the parents brings out the birthday cake. it has the number of candles on it to match the boy’s or girl’s age plus one more for good luck. all the guests sing the happy birthday song. after the song the birthday boy or girl makes a wish and blows all the candles out. the parents get him to cut the cake and everyone eats a piece. there is also ice-cream and candy. next comes opening the birthday cards and presents. the boy or girl opens each present and card in front of all the guests. they pass the presents and cards around so that everyone can see what they are. the boy or girl says “thank you” to each person who gave him or her a gift and card. the children play more games and watch more videos. at some parties the guests are given a party favour or gift to take home. it usually is a happy time for everyone.
